What is UMO's HE Staff Supervision?

UMO’s supervision provides an important mechanism for the provision of a high quality, safe and effective mental health service.

UMO’s Specialist Autism, ADHD and Neurodiversity mentors help to guide, develop and recognise the student’s abilities so they are able to achieve their potential at university.

Our supervisors are highly qualified clinicians who have extensive experience in supervision, understanding the nuances of the role and how to support professionals.

What do Supervision involve?

Supervision is arranged on a fortnightly/ monthly basis, either on site or remotely using the secure digital platform, Google Meet.

Staff can reflect and challenge their own practice in a safe and confidential environment as well as receive feedback on their skills.

Staff can engage in professional development, identify developmental needs and support revalidation when necessary
