UMO’s wellbeing mentoring is a short-term mentoring programme. Wellbeing mentoring tackles specific obstacles blocking student’s success, such as bereavement, personal challenges and relationship issues. It helps the student get back on track.

Wellbeing mentoring helps students face and overcome challenges with a proactive and goal-oriented model.

What is Wellbeing Mentoring?
UMO’s wellbeing mentoring aims to improve the quality of a student’s studies and keep their life at university on track when they may have become derailed.
Students face unexpected short-term issues in their lives. When unaddressed, these events can severely disrupt education and life. Wellbeing mentoring aims to prevent students falling behind when life gets in the way.

What do Mentoring Sessions involve?
Sessions are designed to target specific issues faced by the student and are adaptable to the student’s specific needs. Sessions arewith an experienced and accredited mental health professional.
