What is Specialist Mental Health Mentoring?

UMO’s Specialist Mental Health Mentoring helps students recognise their mental health barriers. The mentor helps them to understand their condition and supports them in developing strategies to address and even overcome it. Mentoring support is tailored to the specific needs of the student.

Mentoring has a positive impact on functioning, academic performance and experience at university.
